Karina has been working within the field of photography since 1997 and has a real passion and discerning approach to wedding photography. The images speak for themselves.
Her insightful style is based on extensive experience within the field of lifestyle portraiture after a career with the UK’s most cutting edge and leading brand in the contemporary portrait market.
Karina started her career as press photographer for a Danish national broadsheet newspaper (www.berlinske.dk) which is where her intuitive photojournalistic style and innovative approach to wedding photography springs from. She then continued on to obtain a 1st class honours degree in photography and spend an additional year at the prestigious RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
Karina has covered weddings since 2003 and is now the resident photographer at Blackbrook House in Belper (www.blackbrookhouse.com), she is married, lives in Derby and bases her business at Derby’s creative hub Banks’ Mill.
